And so due to McCain's unpalatability, I support Bob Barr for President of the United States. He is by far the candidate with the best conservative credentials.
He has a bit of a blind spot on the war in Iraq, true. But I agree with him that it was a politically motivated move by the neocons to take us in there, I just disagree with his call for withdrawal. The REAL bad guys are there now, Al Qaeda and their ilk, as well as al-Sadr, and we can't leave before we wipe them out.
But by and large, he is head and shoulders above John McCain, to say nothing of Barack Obama. I stand with Bob Barr. The national GOP needs a wake-up call on spending and civil liberties. This is it.

There's no Al Quaeda in Iraq....just a bunch of two bit chumps. We need to go after them where they are. Iraq may have two or three people that identify themselves as Al Quaeda but they're nothing to worry about.
Barr deserves a vote just for having the spherical like brass objects clanging together while he impeached Clinton.
Oh, I think there are still more than a few Al Qaeda types there. Throw the Sadrists and Iran's proxy goon squads and there's still a bit that needs to be done. Bear in mind I don't endorse the decision to go in, but we have to fix it now that we broke it.
Barack Obama thanks you for your support. The time to "send a message" is in the PRIMARY.
The drug issue is not even a top 20 issue for me. They're right about a lot of far more important things. Gun rights, for one.
As an aside, Black, you must have started as a Rudy supporter, I bet. He's your typical Northeastern RINO.
Gee, and I thought true conservatives loved freedom and liberty...I must have missed that drug use stuff in the Federalist and Anti-Federalist Papers...
